We’re excited to have you with us. Our affiliates are valuable partners, and we aim to treat everyone with fairness, honesty, and respect. In return, we ask that you follow a few simple rules to keep the program healthy, transparent, and beneficial for everyone.
Here’s a quick summary of the most important points:
Play fair. No abuse, gaming, fake leads, or misleading tactics.
No self-referrals or commissions on your own purchases or accounts you control.
Don’t impersonate Alura or create ads or pages that suggest you represent us.
No paid ads competing with ours (e.g., search ads on “Alura,” or paid social ads linking directly to us).
Commissions apply only to valid, non-refunded purchases.
We pay out quarterly in NOK for commission balances over USD $200. Smaller balances carry forward. The final received amount may differ from your dashboard due to exchange rates or PayPal/bank fees.
We may update or change the program at any time and may remove affiliates who violate the terms.
We may withhold commissions generated through prohibited or fraudulent activity.

Below you’ll find the full legal agreement. Thanks for taking a moment to read through it.
This is a legal agreement between you (“Affiliate”, “you”) and Net Ventures AS, owner of the Alura brand (“Alura”, “we”, “us”, “our”).
By submitting your application or participating in the program, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to all terms and conditions.
These Terms govern your participation in the Alura Affiliate Program, allowing you to promote Alura’s services using approved links and promotional materials.
“Your Content” includes any website, blog, social media account, video, audio, email, or any other medium under your control.
We reserve full discretion to determine whether your participation is acceptable or may continue.
You must submit an online application. Approval is not guaranteed and may be revoked at any time for any reason at our sole discretion.
We may reject or terminate your application if your content:
Contains adult, violent, discriminatory, hateful, defamatory, or illegal material
Promotes copyright infringement or intellectual property violations
Includes “Alura” or similar spellings in your domain name or branding
Imitates, confuses, or suggests you are representing Alura
Interferes with tracking, diverts commissions, or manipulates attribution
Harms or potentially harms Alura’s brand, reputation, customers, or systems
You must use the affiliate links and materials we provide. Modifying tracking links or implementing technology that manipulates tracking is prohibited.
We may review your content at any time and require changes. Failure to comply may result in immediate termination.
You are fully responsible for maintaining and updating your content, and for ensuring that all materials you use are legal and properly licensed.
You may not:
Claim to be an Alura employee or representative
Suggest Alura endorses or sponsors you beyond the affiliate relationship
Create social media groups or pages that imply official affiliation
Alter Alura logos or branding
Translate Alura materials without explicit written approval
We currently use Rewardful Inc. as our affiliate platform. You must comply with their terms as well.
You must clearly and prominently disclose that you may earn a commission wherever you promote Alura or share affiliate links. Disclosures must appear close to the relevant promotion or link and comply with applicable advertising laws.
Your promotions must be truthful and accurate. You may not make false or unsupported claims about Alura, including guarantees of sales, income, or results.
You must promptly correct or remove promotions that violate these requirements when we notify you.
We may monitor your activity at any time to ensure compliance.
We may suspend your participation and temporarily withhold affected commissions if we have reasonable grounds to suspect fraud, abuse, tracking manipulation, or another violation of these Terms.
We may request information reasonably needed to investigate, including details of your promotional methods and traffic sources. You must cooperate with reasonable requests.
We will investigate without unreasonable delay. If we reasonably determine that a violation occurred, we may terminate your participation and forfeit commissions generated through that violation. Commissions already paid may be recovered under Section 6.3.
Any withheld commissions found to be valid will be released in the next scheduled quarterly payout, subject to Section 6.2 or, following termination, Section 4.
This Agreement begins on acceptance and continues until terminated.
Either party may terminate this Agreement at any time, with or without cause, by written notice. Email is sufficient. We may terminate immediately if you breach these Terms.
Upon termination:
Termination does not affect rights or obligations that arose before termination. Provisions concerning commission reversals, confidentiality, limitation of liability, indemnification, and dispute resolution continue to apply where relevant.
We may modify these Terms at any time. Continued participation after changes are published constitutes acceptance.
If you do not agree with the changes, your sole remedy is to stop participating.
Payments are made quarterly through PayPal, to the PayPal email provided by you. Payouts are processed in April, July, October, and January for eligible unpaid commissions accumulated through the end of the preceding calendar quarter.
A quarterly payout is made only if your eligible unpaid commission balance exceeds USD $200, or equivalent, at the end of the calendar quarter. Balances that do not exceed this threshold carry forward to future quarters. Final payouts following termination are handled under Section 4.
All payouts are made in Norwegian Krone (NOK).
Because your dashboard calculates commissions in USD, and payouts are made in NOK:
The final transferred amount may not match the dashboard amount exactly
PayPal or your bank may deduct conversion fees, receiving fees, or transfer fees
Alura is not responsible for any such fees
Affiliate commissions are considered paid when the correct NOK payout amount has been successfully credited to the PayPal account associated with the email address you provided, before any recipient fees. Failed or returned transfers do not discharge our payment obligation and will be handled under Section 6.5.
If your PayPal email is invalid or rejects payment, we are not liable for delays. Funds will be retried once you update your information.
You will receive login access to view performance, traffic, and estimated commissions.
Data shown in the dashboard may occasionally be delayed or adjusted due to refunds, disputes, or validation processes.
The following practices are strictly prohibited and result in immediate termination:
Spamming, including unsolicited emails
Misleading advertising or hidden redirects
Advertising that obscures your identity
Advertising that competes with Alura’s paid channels
Any paid ads linking directly to Alura unless explicitly approved
Bidding on branded keywords such as:
“Alura”
“Alura.io”
Variations or misspellings
Any combination including our brand
…is strictly prohibited and grounds for one-strike immediate removal.
Entering false, misleading, or artificially generated leads is forbidden.
You may not use:
Interstitials
Pop-up fraud
Cookie stuffing
Parasiteware
Toolbars or browser extensions
Automatic redirects
Hidden IFrames
Any technique designed to overwrite or force cookies
Any such action is grounds for immediate termination. Commissions generated through the prohibited activity are forfeited, and commissions already paid may be recovered under Section 6.3.
You may not refer yourself, your own business, or accounts you control.
Self-referral commissions are void.
We grant you a non-exclusive, revocable license to use approved Alura logos and materials solely for the purpose of affiliate promotion.
You may not alter branding or use it in misleading contexts.
Alura provides no warranties regarding platform performance, uptime, or continuity of the affiliate program.
The affiliate program is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind.
By participating, you confirm that:
You are legally able to enter this Agreement
You own or have the right to operate all properties where affiliate content is posted
Your participation does not violate any local laws or third-party contracts
To the fullest extent permitted by law:
Alura is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
Alura’s total liability under this Agreement is limited to the total commissions paid to you
You accept that participation is at your own risk
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Alura and its owners, employees, and partners from any claims arising from:
Your content
Your misuse of affiliate materials
Your violation of laws or third-party rights
Any breach of this Agreement
Any non-public information exchanged will remain confidential unless required by law.
You are an independent contractor, not an employee or representative of Alura
You may not assign your rights without written consent
This Agreement is governed by Norwegian law
Any invalid provision is severed without affecting remaining terms
This Agreement constitutes the entire agreement between the parties
